AQLM 2023 at Woods Hole, MA, USA

AQLM is coming up this spring (Analytical and Quantitative Light Microscopy), so get your applications going for an exciting course covering a significant chunk of the breadth of microscopy methods. Also included are image analysis methods, including a section on Fiji by me! Speaking of which, I better get to preparing. Please let me know if there is anything in particular you would be interested in seeing in this year’s session.

Resources I recommend for those who want to get a jump start:

Pete Bankhead’s amazing INTERACTIVE website where you can see explanations for either Fiji or Python, and run an ImageJ instance through the cloud to test what is being discussed in the text. I strongly recommend this as a first stop for anyone interested in learning more about image analysis in general.

A collection of resources specific to Fiji by Vladimir Ulman, detailing everything from installation and setup to creating macros and more advanced processing. Give him a big thank you or at least a heart on his forum post here.
